Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
A message from the SENDCo
Hello,
I am Mrs Wright, the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) at Holbrook C of E Primary School. We are proud to have a dedicated team of professionals who work together to ensure that all our students receive the support they need. This team includes myself, Mrs Taylor, our headteacher and Mrs Sheldon, our SEND Governor.
Our SEND team works closely with all class teachers to identify children who may require additional support, whether that be academic, social, emotional, or physical. We then coordinate tailored support and provision for each child, using adapted teaching, interventions and resources where necessary. We also work in partnership with parents, caregivers, support staff, outside agencies and individual families to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs) that are designed to meet the unique needs of each child.
To ensure that our entire school community is equipped to support children with SEN, we provide regular training for all staff members. Additionally, we hold regular review meetings with parents, carers and professionals to ensure that our students are making progress towards their targets.
At Holbrook C of E Primary School, we are committed to providing high-quality support for all our students.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us through the school's details:

Mrs Domenica Wright
