Art focus
Mon 13 Feb 2023This term our artist focus is on Jean-Michel Basquiat. Children have enjoyed creating artwork inspired by his untitled piece (skull).

Dodgeball champions
Fri 10 Feb 2023Champions! Our KS1 dodgeball team had great success at the Dodgeball tournament last week, winning the whole competition, up against fourteen schools! Thomas said, “It was amazing because we never lost a game.” Reuben wanted everyone to know that, “The best bit was playing the game and I didn’t get hit in any single game”. Sophia said, “It was good because I saw my friends and everyone was cheering.” Thank you Mrs Slaney for supporting the children at the event and well done everyone for bringing back that trophy!

Fun with bikes!
Fri 07 May 2021Year 5 honed their road-smart bike skills this week and, as usual, impressed everyone with their exemplary attitudes - despite experiencing four seasons in one day. Well done everyone!

Catching up on science week
Thu 01 Apr 2021During lockdown we missed several key dates from our normal school year so have been trying to catch up over the last few weeks.
This week was the turn of British Science Week, which should have been at the start of March.
We couldn't quite find time for a whole week of activities but several of the classes spent Wednesday engaged in range of scientific experiments and activities.

Red Nose Day
Mon 22 Mar 2021Thank you to everyone who contributed to our fund raising for Comic Relief. We raised £216 through your donations.
Although we couldn't run our normal range of Red Nose Day activities, the children enjoyed taking part in Comic Relief-themed lessons within their bubbles.
